My vibrator was bought for me, by my then boyfriend, obviously.

About three Christmases ago (2005 I think), my housemates and I went out dressed as Santa girls (Ollie borrowed a Santa Claus suit from Laura B's mum). The only suitable outfit I could find was a rather short number from Ann Summers (a shop that sells sexy underwear, and slightly kinky stuff such as vibrators and blow-up dolls, nothing too seedy; I don't know if it exists in the U.S), and the only time I could get it was a week before the party, on a Saturday when I happened to be working a full day (I was at university at the time and was working weekends at Sports World, a sports shop). I went to get it during my hour's lunch, and had to take it back to work. All the other girls were all like: 'Oooh, what have you got from Ann Summers?' I tried to explain, but they wouldn't listen...

I spent the whole night either pulling the dress up so my boobs weren't popping out, or trying to cover my butt (I was sensible enough to wear full briefs and pantyhose). The photographs were plastered over our kitchen cabinet and fridge right until I moved out.

It's not embarrassing or naughty, but I bought a box of condoms at the chemist (along with cotton buds and cotton wool) and the girl at the counter insisted in putting the lot in the smallest bag possible!
