| What's your favorite book? Mine are a tie: Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov and Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami. I couldn't possibly choose between the two. | |

| The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold is my current favorite and last book I read. Otherwise, I read a lot of soft core smut novels. AKA Romanc novels. =3 | |

| I have a question, Breine, because people who are multilingual fascinate me.
When did you first read LoTR? Did you read it around when you were learning English when you were younger (I'm assuming your household wasn't bilingual with Danish and English and that you learned English at school, correct me if I'm wrong)? LoTR is a pretty difficult book to read even being a native speaker of English, so I'm impressed if you read it before you were like, super fluent like you are now.

Sorry to disappoint you, but I've never read it in English - I'd love to do it one day, though, if I can find an English copy of it. I have read many other books in English, though

| Time for another serious post from me in here!
Brave New World, Aldous Huxley. This book is so good I took his name. (Ironically one of my former names was Iayn, so I can only presume I'm going to move through the authors; Iain, Huxley, Kurt, Adolf...
Anyway yeah. I've got a major hardon for dystopian, especially totalitarian, fiction. So I've gone through the classics, 1984, We, BNW, The Handmaid's Tale, Fahrenheit 451, The Postman, etc. All worthy, in my opinion, but none quite touch the horror of Brave New World.

| I loves me some Animal Farm. I enjoyed tutoring the girl I tutor about it, but I would get frustrated because she just wouldn't get it. I guess it went over her head.
The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand is a favorite of mine, along with:
World War Z Harry Potter Memoirs of a Geisha Most of Haruki Murakami's writing Just about anything that Augustin Burroughs has written

| I second Agusten Borroughs. I bought Bert one of his books for V-day (lawl) & he loved it.
Vonnegut is one of my favorite authors, though strangely enough I have never completed a book. Just read fragments of Cat's Cradle, Sirens of Titan, Slaughterhouse Five, etc.
